Melted Suzani

Melted Suzani was created by designer Ferdod Haghighi. Reimagining the iconic motifs of Central Asian antique textiles, this collection blends time-honored embroidery forms with a refined contemporary sensibility. Traditional floral medallions, vine work and rosette motifs are gently softened and stretched, producing a fluid, “melted” effect that preserves the essence of the original motifs while introducing a modern, graphic rhythm.

Each repeat balances heritage and restraint: layered textures and subtle distortions lend movement without overwhelming the composition. The palette remains sophisticated—muted indigos, warm terracottas, and soft ivories—chosen to echo natural dyes and to complement both classic and minimalist interiors.

Melted Suzani works as an elegant focal point or an undercurrent of pattern in upholstery, drapery, and accent textiles. Its restrained reinterpretation of a classic design makes it at once familiar and fresh—perfect for spaces that honor tradition while embracing contemporary refinement.
